MRS. JANE ELLIS

Mrs. Jane Ellis, 77 years old, died
yesterday at the home of her daugh-
ter, Mrs. W. G. Isgrigg, 2507 East
Eighteenth street. She suffered se-
vere injuries to her head in a fall
a short time ago. Mrs. Ellis was
born in Pittsburg, O. She came to
Indianapolis in 1902 and had lived
previously in Kokomo and Sharps-
ville where she was a member of
the Methodist Episcopal Church. Her
husband, N. H. Ellis, died twenty-
two years ago. Surviving are two
sons, Fred and Alford Ellis, both of
Indianapolis; five daughters, Mrs.
Anna Callaway of Elwood, Mrs. E.
R. Westcott of Newcastle and Mrs.
Earl Grayson, Mrs. Charles Playfoot
and Mrs. Isgrigg of Indianapolis,
and a sister, Mrs. James H. Watson
of Kokomo. Funeral services will be
held at the Isgrigg home at 2 o'clock
tomorrow afternoon with the Rev.
R. D. Wise of New__le officiating.
Burial will be in the Crown Hill cem-
etery.
