Born August 2, 1929 in Tooele, Utah to Erb and Florence Barber Johnson.
Married L. Rex Andersen on January 2, 1951 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Was an accomplished vocalist; at the age of two performed on radio and continued as a soloist throughout her life. Devoted many hours to church and community. Dearly loved her husband and family and will be greatly missed by them and friends.
Survived by: her husband, six children, Kevin R.(Debra) Andersen, Karen L. (David) Cowley, Salt Lake City; Kim B. (Marian) Chesley, Scott D. (Marian) Andersen, Sandy; Brian K. (Linda) Andersen, Las Vegas; David R. (Tanya) Andersen, Laguna Hills, California; fourteen grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Ross Johnson, Fay Connell, Roxie Dobson, all Tooele; JoAnn Fleenor, Salt Lake City; preceded in death by parents, sister, Luana Williams, brother, Dee Johnson.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Cottonwood Twelfth Ward Chapel, 1750 East Spring Lane. Friends may call on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mackay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive, and Monday one hour prior to the services at the Church.
Interment: Mackay Holladay Memorial Park.
