The decedent, who came to this country from Poland as a small boy, retired from the railroad 19 years ago.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Mamie Lee, Mrs. Clyde Cole and Mrs. DeCook, all of Chesterton, and Mrs. Anna Craig, Gary; a son, Frank, Gary; 20 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. His wife died eight years ago.
Memorial services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Patrick's Catholic church, with the Rev. Edwin F. Eisenhardt officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's cemetery. Friends may call at the DeCook home up until time of the services. The Flynn funeral home is in charge.
