Mrs. Chadwick died April 22, 2003 in Lubbock. She graduated from Lubbock High School in 1937. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. and Pacific Bell a total of 30 years. She also worked several years at Texas Tech Museum and she worked several years as a switchboard operator for U.M.C. and H.S.C. retiring in 1983. She spent 12 years in the Foster Grandparent Program at Lubbock State School. She is a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Survivors include one son, Max Rogers of Lubbock; one daughter, Judy Son of Visalia, Calif.; three brothers, Alfred Holton, A.B. Holton, and Kenneth Holton, all of Lubbock; three sisters, Norma Peden of Ft. Worth, Janelle Padgett, and Connie Dean both of Lubbock; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
