MRS. ALTA CAMERON
Mrs. Alta M. Cameron, 72, 1708 W. Markland Ave,m died Sunday at 1:45 am in St. Joseph Memorial Hospital following a one year illness.
born in Miami County June 11, 1893. she was the daughter of James and Minerva (Snyder) Harrell (Herrell). She had resided in Kokomo since 1923 when she married Charles Cameron. He preceded her in death in 1948.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Roxie Goldsberry, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Maude Huey, Russiaville RR1; a brother, Oliver Harrell (Herrell), Miami; a half-sister, Mrs. Charlotte Pearce, Kokomo; and several nieces and nephews.
One brother and two sisters are deceased.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 am in Ellers Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Glen Rich officiating. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery.
