Shreveport, LA = Services for Mary Digilormo Stephens Jones will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, June 4, 2005 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Brian Yeich, pastor of North Point United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City, LA.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2005 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Funeral Home.
Mary passed away Thursday, June 2, 2005 at Christus Schumpert Grace Home. She was a faithful member of North Point United Methodist Church. Mary was a very special wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger. Mary spent her time living for her family. Recently, she met and married William Jones and together they fulfilled each other’s lives with much happiness.
Her first husband of 44 years, Bobby C. Stephens and numerous brothers and sisters preceded her in death. Survivors are her husband, William Jones of Shreveport, LA; daughters, Bobbie Ann Doyle and husband, Ricky of Bossier City, LA, Sue Tullis and husband, Tommy of Blanchard, LA; Stepdaughters, Marion Whitlow of Mooringsport, LA and Terri Jones of Oil City, LA; stepson, David Jones of Carrollton, TX; grandchildren Jaime Blankenship and husband, Donnie, Billy Hale, Jr. and his former wife Stacy, Joshua, Brittany and Michael Doyle, Stephanie Hunt and husband Cody, Kim Bickham and husband Tippy, Brandi Woods and husband, Marc; Great grandchildren, Presli and Peyton Wynn, Colby Blankenship, Trae Hale, Britain Bickham, Landen, Lauren, Marci and Peyton Woods; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; and brothers, Tom Digilormo and Johnny Digilormo both of Blanchard, LA and Sam Digilormo of Shreveport, LA.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tony, Shane, Louis, Tommy, Johnny “Bubba” and Brandon Digilormo.
The family sends a special thanks to Brenda of Odyssey Health Care for the profession and loving care given to our loved one.
Memorials may be made to Christus Schumpert Grace Home in memory of Mary Anne Stephens Jones.
