Blanchard, LA - Mr. Johnny Digilormo, born October 13, 1923 in Bossier Parish passed away Friday, June 9, 2006, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Digilormo was a lifetime resident of the Shreveport-Blanchard area.

Visitation will be at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Funeral Home, Sunday, June 11, 2006 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 12, 2006 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Dale Sauls, pastor of First Baptist Church of Blanchard. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens North in Blanchard.

Mr. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, four sisters and his grandson, Charlie Matassa.

Mr. Johnny is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mrs. Claudia Digilormo of Blanchard, LA; brothers: Sam Digilormo (Betty) of Shreveport and Tom Digilormo of Blanchard; daughter, Beverly Swinney (L.C.) of Bethany,, LA; son, Johnny V. "Bubba" Digilormo (Becky) of Blanchard; grandchildren: Angela (Eric), Mark (Michelle), Erin (Trey), Grey (Nealy), Tony (Danielle), and Molly; great grandchildren: Chris (Chassidy), Macie, Camryn and Rylie; great great grandchildren Joshua and Jayla and a host of relatives and friends.

Mr. Johnny's pallbearers will be his grandsons: Mark, Grey, Tony, Chris, Eric and Trey.

The family would like to thank Dr. Balough, Dr. Irtz, Dr. Walton and the staff of DCI North.

Although Mr. Johnny was retired from the Caddo Parish Police Jury, he was a farmer with all his heart and he farmed until his last day.

We love and will miss you greatly Johnny, Daddy and Papaw.
