Shreveport, LA - Services for Joseph "Joe" Digilormo, 82, will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, July 9, 2001 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Father Charles Glorioso of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Rose-Neath Cemetery will Full Military Honors.
Funeral home visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2001.
Mr. Digilormo passed away Friday, July 6, 2001 in Shreveport after a lengthy illness. He was born in Powhatan, LA and was a resident of Shreveport, LA most of his life. Mr. Digilormo was a farmer and a veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Dominick and Rosa Digilormo; sisters, Elizabeth, Camille, and Jenny; brothers, Frank, Dominick, Tony, Carlo and Nick.
Survivors include sister, Mary Digilormo Stephens; brothers, Sam Digilormo, Johnny Digilormo, Tom Digilormo, all of Shreveport; a large number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Louis Digilormo, Johnny Digilormo, Tony Digilormo, Tommy Digilormo, and Carl Digilormo.
