CARLISLE - Billie Herrington Sr, 70, of Carlisle, KY, son of the late Jessie and Lula (Dotson) Herrington, stepped from this life, on Mon, Dec 14, 2009, into his eternal reward in heaven. Upon the moment of Billie's arrival he received a total healing from all his earthly infirmities. He will be deeply missed. He leaves behind his loving wife, Frances (Willoughby) Herrington, of nearly 52 years. Along with four devoted children: Cindy (Robin) McKinley, Birdsboro PA; William (Teresa) Herrington Jr., Lexington, KY; Vicky Herrington, Carlisle, KY; and Rachel (Troy) May, Mayville, KY. He is also survived by 4 grandsons; 4 granddaughters; 8 great grandsons; and 3 great granddaughters. Also leaving behind 4 sisters: Margaret, Marie, Rebecca and Charlotte; a step-mother, Daisy Herrington; and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. He is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Billie found great pleasure spending his time with family and friends in the beautiful world God created, through camping, boating, fishing, and hunting. Making many memories that his wife, children and grandchildren will never forget. Visitation will be held at Clark's Funeral Home, located at 165 Upper Lick Road, in Moorefield, KY on Sat, Dec 19 between the hours of 5-8pm. Funeral service, by Pastor Ron Spencer, will be held Sun, Dec 20 at 2pm. With burial at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Fleming County. Casket bearers are: Bobby Herrington, Joe Herrington, Mike Herrington, Bobby Joe Hunt, Philip Mitchell, Marshall Needler, Earl Lee Planck Jr., and Randy Warner.
