Leona Abler, 83, of. St. Cloud, died Friday, Nov. 14, 1986, at the home of her daughter in Fond du Lac.
Mrs. Abler was born March 3, 1903, to Lawrence and Josephine Dreifuerst Boelker{Voelker} at rural St. Cloud, On May 5, 1925, she married Joseph N. Abler at St. Cloud. She attended St. Cloud Catholic Grade School and was a lifelong resident of the St. Cloud area. She was a member of St. Cloud Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers Society of the church, the Calvary Parents Guild, the St. Cloud American Legion Auxiliary and the Calvary Area Senior Citizens.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Gus (Alice) Krebsbach and Arlene Abler of Fond du Lac and Mrs. Harry (Virgie) Baus of St. Cloud; one son, Rev. Larry Abler. OFM Cap., of Detroit, Mich.: one sister Mrs. Irene Greuel of New Holstein; one brother, Harold Boelker{Voelker} of Fond du Lac, two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1970, one son, three sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Huss Funeral Home, St. Cloud and at
10:30 a.m. from the St. Cloud Catholic Church. The Rev. Larry Abler ; O.F.M. Capuchin will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials have been established at the St. Cloud Catholic Church and the Consolidated Parochial School.
