ALVEY, MARY L. B-1889,11-07 D-1913,09-08 G-in St. Augustine Cemetery. Father, ALVEY, GEORGE R. Mother-BROTHERS, OPHELIA Married-NEVER See Lebanon Enterprise, 9/12/1913, Friday, Pg. 2---MARY L. ALVEY---Miss Mary L. Alvey, aged 23 years, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Alvey, in Louisville, Monday, of tuberculosis. The funeral services were held in Louisville Wednesday morning and the remains brought here and interred in St. Augustine's Cemetery. She is survived by her father and mother and two sisters and two brothers. Miss Alvey was born and reared in this county and lived at Holy Cross and in this city prior to her parents moving to Louisville. She was an ideal, Christian woman and was highly esteemed by all who knew her. She had been an invalid for several months before her death, but bore her suffering with Christian fortitude. She passed away fortified by all the sacraments of her church and expressing entire confidence in the love of her Devine Master. Many friends extend sympathy to the family in their great sorrow.
