Lachney is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elsie Haren Lachney; one brother, Jules Lachney of Kenner; four sisters, Mrs. W.C. Gonzales of Kener, Mrs. E.J. Gaspard, Mrs. H.A. DeSoto, and Mrs. Lee Dody, all of Alexandria; his mother, Mrs. Effie Harris Lachney of Alexandria; and one grandchild.
Lachney's body is at Hixson Bros. Funeral Home. Arrangements are incomplete for graveside services to be held in the Kelone cemetery at Fifth Ward.
