Bennie Lachney, 53 of Alexandria, died at a family residence, Monday, Sept. 22, 1952, at 9 p.m. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Pauline DeSoto and Mrs. Josephine Gonzales, both of Alexandria, Mrs. Daisy Edwards of Pineville, and Mrs. Hazel Gaspard of New Orleans; two sons, Fallais Lachney and Jule Lachney, both of Alexandria; three brothers, L. Lachney and Garman Lachney, both of Alexandria, and Leonard Lachney of Fifth Ward, Avoyelles Parish and 14 grandchildren.
Remains are at the family residence. Interment will be in Fifth Ward Cemetery, Avoyelles Parish under direction of Kramer Funeral Home. Other arrangements are incomplete.
