Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2010 in the chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Louisiana with Rev. David Craun officiating. Internment will be in Bay Springs Cemeterylocated in Chopin, Louisiana, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services.
He was a native of Marksville and a member of Hope AMG Church in Kenner. Mr. Lachney was a retired carpenter and a United States Navy veteran serving in WW II at Pearl Harbor. He enjoyed building small boats as a hobby.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, three daughters, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
