Ray E. "Chick" Gerberich, 84, of Hershey passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
He was born October 10, 1925 in West Hanover Twp, a son of the late Daniel and Lucy (Hetrick) Gerberich.
Chick retired as a mechanic for the Milton Hershey School Farm Division. He was a member of the Fishburn United Methodist Church and a life member of the Hershey Volunteer Fire Co. He was also a member of the Dauphin County Volunteer Fireman's Assn.; Brownstone Lodge #666 F&AM; Harrisburg Consistory; Zembo Temple Shrine; and the Hershey Shrine Club.
Surviving are his wife, Romaine (Foreman) Gerberich, and numerous niecess and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 7 siblings.
Services will be held Wednesday, December16, 2009, at 11:00 AM in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Route #422 & Lucy Avenue, Hershey.
A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery.
