Nov. 26, 1962 Herald Press, St. Joseph, Michigan, Monday:

Mrs. Mary Alice Richardson 86, of 790 Ogden ave., Benton Harbor, died at 11:10 p.m. Sunday at Campey's Convalescent home 800 Wayne st., where she had been a patient for one month. She had been ill since September.

Mrs. Richardson was born June 7, 1876, in Huntington, Ind. She and her husband, Vernie, lived on a a farm on Hollywood rd. for over 60 years. He died in 1955.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Caldwell and Mrs. Emma Burkett, both of Benton Harbor; a son, Jack Richardson of Benton Harbor; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Salesman and Mrs. Cora Lawrence, both of Benton Harbor; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Kerlikwoske, Starks & Beatty funeral home chapel. Dr. Stanley Buck of the Methodist Peace Temple, Benton Harbor, assisted by the Rev. Leroy Fassett of Scottdale Evangelical United Brethren church, will officiate. Burial will be in Royalton Heights cemetery.
