AGED MAN DIES AT WABASH HOSPITAL
Peter Ramer, an aged man, died at the Wabash hospital Wednesday about eleven o'clock after an illness that had lasted for some months. He had spent fifteen weeks at the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. George Parmerlee, but his condition became such he was taken to the hospital several weeks ago. The body was brought to the Parmerlee home Wednesday afternoon, and funeral services will be held there Friday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. M. D.
Geesey. Burial will be in Oaklawn.
Mr. Ramer was about 76 years of age, and was born in Germany. He came to this country when a child, and was married to Elizabeth Ream, daughter of Joseph Ream, and they lived in this city for many years. Mrs. Ramer died quite a number of years ago, and since then has lived much of the time with his children. There are five surviving children, they being Mrs. Cash Lawrence of Wabash, Mrs. Joseph Brady of Elkhart, Mrs. Allie Richardson of Benton Harbor, Emmett Ramer of Berrien Springs, Michigan, and Mrs. Charles Salesman of Mishawaka. Also a sister, Mrs. Calvin Koontz of near Bracken.
