Mrs. Bertha Yeager, 83, of Lowell died Feb. 10 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born March 12, 1886 in Madison County, she was the daughter of Rubin and Emmiline Dotson Phillips.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Yeager of Lowell; seven sons, Willie, Dorsey and Sam Parson, all of Huntsville, Chesley Parson of Tecumseh, Okla., Everett Parson of Ontario, Calif., Garland Parson of Bell Gardens, Calif., and Ford Parson of Springdale; one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Elem of Hood River, Ore., 36 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren seven great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, February 13, at 2 o'clock in the Huntsville Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Cecil Garrison officiating. Burial was in Whorton cemetery near Huntsville under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Grandsons were pallbearers.
