Benjamin Amos Keiper and Lillie May Moyer were married at Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church 10 Feb 1912 in Stroudsburg by Rev. Charles E. Roth (Monroe County marriage license #3691). At the time of their marriage in 1912, Benjamin, a farmer, was living at Fern Ridge, PA. Lillie was living at Long Pond, PA.

In 1920 Benjamin Keiper, age 33 a machinist in a steel mill, was living at 1140 Westminster Ave., Hanover Twp., Lehigh Co., PA, with his wife, Lillie Keiper age 26, and three Keiper children; son Floyd age 7, daughter Irene age 6, and an un-named son age 11 days. Benjamin Keiper Succumbs at 85
Benjamin A. Keiper, 85, died Monday in his home at 1414 E. Gordon St., Allentown. He was the husband of the late Lillian (Moyer) Keiper.

Before retiring, Keiper had been a self-employed house painter in the Allentown area.

Born in Fernridge, Monroe County, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Amos Keiper.

He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hanover Avenue, Allentown.

Surviving are a son Floyd of Allentown; two daughters, Irene, wife of Charles Moll of Allentown and Mary, wife of Clifford Gower of Bethlehem, and seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Kulik Funeral Home, 426 Hanover Ave., Allentown. Calling hours will be 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
