Mary A. Gower, 86, of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007, in the V.N.A. Hospice of St. Lukes, Lower Saucon Township. She was the wife of the late Clifford W. Gower, who died in 1997.
Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Lillian (Moyer) Keiper.
Mary had worked for the Shoe Factory in Coopersburg and Marvel Maid of Bethlehem. She was a former member of College Hill Moravian Church. She was a member of the Grover Cleveland Democratic Club, 540 Democratic Club, Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, and Bethlehem Volunteer Fire & Home Association Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors: Daughter, Gail S. Edelheiser and her husband David of Bethlehem; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her son, James Gower in 1973, sister, Irene Moll, and brothers, Floyd and Paul Keiper.
