A housewife, she was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church, Mediapolis, and American Legion auxiliary.
Surviving: two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Baird, rural Wapello, and Mrs. Harriet Kennedy, Yarmouth; a brother, Millard Johnson, Morning Sun, and a sister, Florence Walker, Mediapolis; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Immanuel Lutheran church, pastor Carl Beyerhelm; Kossuth Cemetery.
