Mary Elsie Smith Ives Van Patten. Was first married to John G. Ives on 16 May 1874 in St. Louis, Missouri. John G. Ives, Jr died 26 Jul 1896 in Little Rock, Arkansas. See memorial #24906400. Mary remarried to James Mindart Van Patten on 18 Aug 1910 in Springfield, Illinois. They moved to Columbus, Ohio and lived there for a short time. Her son Oscar, (Memorial #33104410) passed while on a visit to her. Mary and Oscar share a head stone as seen in the memorial photo.
