Mike H. Buechler Sr., 84, a lifelong resident of the Town of Lima, died of a long illness at his home early Sunday.
A son of the late Theodore and Isabel Buechler, he was born February 27, 1877, and educated at St. Georges Catholic School, Six Corners.
He married Rosalie Stahl in St. Georges Church, October 24, 1905. Mr. and Mrs. Buechler observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1955.
The couple had farmed in Lima until Mr. Buechlers retirement. He was a member of the Apostolate of Suffering and Holy Name Society of St. Georges Parish.
Surviving are his wife; four sons, Thomas, R. 3, Sheboygan Falls, Francis, at home, and Theodore and Michael Jr., Sheboygan; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Jacoby Jr. (Eleanor) R. 1, Cedar Grove; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, four brothers and four sisters.
The requiem Mass will be at 11 a.m. at St. Georges Church, following family rites at Gerends Funeral Home here. The Rev. Victor Kemmer, pastor, will be celebrant of the Mass, with burial in the parish cemetery.
