Teddy was born on Dec. 12, 1914 in Sheboygan County, a son of the late Michael and Rosalie (Stahl) Buechler.
He attended St. George Catholic School and Oostburg High School and then attended Business College in Sheboygan.
On Nov. 25, 1939 he was united in marriage to AnnaMae J. Williams. She preceded him in death on April 9, 2005.
Teddy was the office manager and dispatcher for Motor Transport Company his entire working career. He also enjoyed tending bar at several local taverns, especially Benjie's Bar. He was well known for his wonderful old fashioneds, martinis and kiddie cocktails.
Teddy's hobbies included reading, playing cards and collecting stamps and coins. He was an avid baseball fan enjoying many Brewers games and his nephew's softball games.
Teddy was a longtime member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church.
Teddy is survived by his brother, Francis (Luella) Buechler of Sheboygan Falls, along with many special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, neighbors and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas and Michael, along with two sisters, Adeline Drews and Eleanor Jacoby.
