Thomas G. Buechler, 94, of N3193 East county Hwy. A, Sheboygan Falls (Town of Wilson), passed away at his home on Friday, Dec. 5, 2003. He was bom April 2, 1909, in the Town of Lima, the son of the late Mike and Rosalia (Stahl) Buechler. , . , On June 15, 1940, he married Mary E. Beneke in Aitken, Minn. She preceded him in death on June 13, 2003. He was a lifelong dairy farmer in the Town of Wilson. Thomas worked at A.O. Smith Co. in Milwaukee for a short time, He was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish-St. George Site and its Holy Name Society. Thomas was also a member of the Sheboygan County Farm Bureau. He enjoyed reading, gardening, playing sheepshead and sports spectating.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; three sisters, an infant, Rosalie, Eleanor Jacoby, and Adeline Drews; and one brother, Michael Buechler. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 10 2003, at 11 a.m. at the St George Chapel of Blessed Trinity Parish in the Town of Wilson, with the Rev. Eugene Neuman officiating Prayers will be at 10:30 a.m. at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls. Burial will take place in St. George Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Wilson. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A parish vigil will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Excerpt from The Sheboygan Press December 6, 2003
