ALEXANDER DAWDY
---Alexander Dawdy, eighty-five, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Dave Marquith, in the Bitler community east of La Plata, Wednesday morning, May 9, after an illness of several months.
---Mr. Dawdy is survived by the daughter at whose home he died, two other daughters and one son, Mrs. John Flynn, Mrs. Del Curtis and John Dawdy, other close relatives and friends.
---Funeral and burial services were held at the Kennedy cemetery northeast of Gifford.
