Connie Gordon Strain is the son of Alley Henry Strain (1850-1910) and Martha Annette Cleckler Strain (1854-1891). He was injured in a farm accident and suffered brain damage. He had to be institutionalized in the Sanitarium at Milledgeville. He never married.
