Survivors include the widow; three daughters, Henrietta (Mrs. William) Postma of Sheldon, Emma (Mrs. Karl) Pesaresi of St George, Kansas and Lois (Mrs. Gerald) Kreykes of Sheldon; four sons, Emerson and Adrian both of Primghar, William of Astoria, South Dakota and Howard of Sheldon ; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, 4 brothers and 5 sisters
