Adrian Arie Lucas, 92, passed away peacefully Friday, June 25, 2021. On July 2, 1928, he was born in Sheldon, Iowa, to Arie and Jacomina Alida (nee Beltman) Lucas. He was a beloved husband, dad, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all that knew him.
Adrian is survived by daughter Kathy Lucas (Pat) Hamm, of Ames Iowa, son, Michael Alan Lucas, of Laurie, Missouri, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Marian Carol (Meester) Lucas, his parents, three brother, and two sisters.
Funeral Services will be 11 am on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Gilbert Lutheran Church in Gilbert, Iowa. Interment will follow at the Ames Municipal Cemetery in Ames, Iowa.
