OBITUARY - Pharos-Tribune, Logansport (IN) - Tuesday, May 2, 1950

ROANN Ind., May 2 - Omar Wilson, 88, died at 3:15 o'clock Tuesday morning at his home, RR 2 Wabash.

Born on February 25, 1862 in Miami county, he was the son of Absolom and Mary (Fisher) Wilson. In 1888 he married the former Dora Bell, who passed away in 1922.

He was a member of the Richvalley Evangelical United Brethran church and Modern Woodmen of America.

Survivors are: three sons, Lloyd, Thomas, of Pleasant L., of route 2, Wabash; five daughters, Mrs. Sylvester Biddle, and Mrs. Lloyd Irelan, of route 2, Peru; Mrs. Dwight Hostetler, of LaGrange, Ind.; Mrs. Gail Freed, of Findley, O.; and Mrs. Paul Overly, of route 1, South Wheatley; two sisters Mrs. Clarence Straddler, of Peru; and Mrs. Lana Wilson, route 1, Peru; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Final rites will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday at the church with the Rev. Merril Greblo officiating. Burial will be in Falls cemetery, Wabash. The body is at the Grandstaff funeral home, where friends may call.
