Helen L. Freed, 80, of 1512 Payne Ave., died at 9:05 a.m. Friday in Community Nursing Home, Bowling Green.
She was born Sept. 30, 1902, in Wabash County, Ind., to Omer and Dora Ann (Bell) Wilson. She married the Rev. Allan G. Freed in North Manchester, Ind., on June 6, 1926, and he died June 6, 1981.
Surviving are two sons, Donald W. and Harold D., both of Findlay; a daughter, Mrs. Earl (June) Christy, Bowling Green; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Paul (Vera) Overly, South Whitley, Ind.
Mrs. Freed was a homemaker and a member of Eagle Creek Church of the Brethren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Gene Milioni officiating. Burial will be in Eagle Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home.
