Mrs. Lusk was born Sept 23, 1893, in Wellsville, Ut, a daughter of James and Anne Kerr Bailey. Her parents came to Arbon Valley when she was five years old and she lived there for many years.
She married David T. Lusk on Dec. 24,1913 in Pocatello. They made their home in Arbon Valley until 1948 when they came to Pocatello. Her husband died 11 years ago today.
Mrs. Lusk was a member of the fifth ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was active in the church. When she was young she was an organist in Arbon, and was Primary president, a Relief Society block teacher, and active in the genealogy and temple work.
She enjoyed sewing, handwork, flowers and yard work,and was a baseball fan.
Surviving are four sons, J.Paul Lusk and Glen Lusk, Pocatello; David W. Lusk, Arbon Valley; and Maj.Vernon N.Lusk, U.S. Army Korea; A daughter Mrs Neil (Jennie)Griffith, Ontario, Ore.; 17 grand children; 1 great grandchild; 2 brothers, Charles Bailey, Clifton, Idaho and Thomas K. Bailey, Moses Lake, Wash.; and 5 sisters, Mrs.Elizabeth Rhodes, and Mrs Charles (Mary)Renberg and Mrs. Joseph G. (Edna)Arbon, Pocatello; and Mrs. Royal (Tressa) Swenson and Mrs. Soren (Mearl) Christensen, of Malad.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 P.M. in the LDS Fifth ward chapel with Bishop Boyd Henderson officating. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Manning Chapel. Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery.
