Elizabeth Bailey Rhodes, 62 811 Cottage
died Saturday at St. Anthony
hospital following
an Illness. Rhodes was born April
2, 1903 in Wellsville, Utah, a daughter of James Richard and Annie Kerr Bailev. She lived in Arbon, Idaho as a child, and attended the Idaho Technical Institute and
Grimms Business College here.
She married Walter Oliver Rhodes July 1, 1925 in Dillon, Mont. He died Feb. 18, 1962.
Mrs.Rhodes was a member of the eighteenth ward, Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a Relief Society visiting teacher and active in genealogy work. She received her LDS temple endowments in the Idaho Falls temple Oct. 31, 1964.
She was past president of the, Lady Engineers, and at the time of her death was Relief secretary. She was a member of the Lady Firemen, the Old Timers Club and the Eastern Star.
Surviving is a son, Walter, a daughter, Mrs. Helen Munsee, Pccatello; six grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Bailey, Clifton, Ida.-, Thomas K. Bailey,
Moses Lake Washington, four sisters,
Mrs. Charles (Mary) Renberg, Mrs. Joseph (Edna) Arbon,' Pocatello; Mrs. Royal (Tressa) Swenson and Mrs. Soren (Merle) Christensen, Malad.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the LDS West Pocatello Stake house, with Bishop Keith Daley of the Eighteenth Ward officiating.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 until 9 p.m. at the Manning Chapel. Burial will he in the Mountain View Cemetery.
