Margaret married Adam Klinefelter on August 2, 1825 in Stark (Summit) County, OH. She died in Green Township, Summit County, OH.

“Terrible Runaway Accident.
Parties in from Greensburg, this county, Monday, gave particulars of a fatal runaway accident which occurred in that place Sunday. Mrs. Klinefelter, an old resident of Greensburg, had been calling upon a sick friend, and upon getting into her conveyance raised an umbrella. The team, two colts, at once took fright thereat and started on a dead run. Mr. Klinefelter, her son, was pitched out but escaped serious injury. Mrs. Klinefelter was carried further on and then thrown with great violence to the ground, striking on her head and being instantly killed. The team ran some distance after throwing her out and made a bad wreck of the vehicle. Mrs. Klinefelter (better known as ‘Mother’ Klinefelter) was some 70 years of age and greatly beloved. The funeral will take place on Wednesday at 10 o’clock A. M.”
