MARGARET L. GOLDEN
Margaret Lee Golden, age 70 of Newark, Ohio passed away on October 10, 2009 at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Newark.
She was born on March 6, 1939 to the late Osa S. and Golda V. (Arnold) Whitacre. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and also a friend. She fought a long hard battle for over an year. She had a great sense of humor, loved gardening, going to yard sales and she always put others before herself. She will be sadly missed by all the people that loved her. Upon her request there will be no public viewing or a funeral. Her family thanks everyone for the love, care and support that they not only gave our Mom but us too.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 34 years Delbert C., children; Jeffrey A. Mayle, Ronald E. (Sheila) Mayle, Jill S. (Kenny) Sims, and Michael D. (Shantel) Jenkins.
Surviving step-children Debbie M. Spencer, Ralph D. Golden (Wanda) and Melissa K. Golden, sister Marianne W. Arnott and brother Julian E. "Toaddie" Whitacre, many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her step-children; Charles M. Golden, Ann Sunkle, and Mindy M. Oliff and loving daughter-in-law Donna J. Mayle, sisters; Irene V. Chilcott and Pauline H. Sine, brother John Robert "Bobby" Whitacre.
