Albert L. Crawford, 79, husband of Nettie Hauer Crawford, Mount Olivet Boulevard, died the Frederick Memorial Hospital, Thursday at 2:25 p m.
Mr. Crawford was born in Frederick County, the son of John R. and Mary O'Brian Crawford.
Surviving, in addition to his widow, are one son, Charles Crawford, Frederick; one daughter, Mrs. Herbert D. Main, Yellow Springs, one brother, Meridith Crawford, Braddock Heights; one sister, Mrs. Mary Catherine Shuffler, Frederick; five granddaughters, five great- grandsons and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Crawford was well known, having been associated with the Indian Refining Company, the American Oil Company, and Havoline Oil Company, and owned and operated the Crawford Bus Line from 1924 to 1955.
Friends may call at the funeral home, 106 East Church Street, after 7 p.m. today until 9 p.m. Saturday. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Mount Olivet Cemetery. M. R. Etchison and Son, funeral directors. The family requests contributions be made to the United Ambulance Service.
