Mrs. Julia A. Babb, aged 76 years, died at her home in Joplin Monday after a long illness. The funeral was held at the Methodist Episcopal church this afternoon at 3:30 o’clock with burial in Galena cemetery. Mrs. Babb had been a resident of the mining district a number of years. She is survived by three sons, B. G. Babb, of this city, G. W. Babb, of Payett, Idaho, D. S. Babb, of Cheney, Wash., and two daughters, Mesdames M. A. Gatton and John Abner (sic) [Abney], of Joplin.

Galena, Kan., Oct. 29.—Mrs. Margaret Ann Adams, 91 years old, former long-time Galena resident, died at 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of her son, Lloyd Adams, in Tulsa, where she had made her home the last year.
She had lived in the Galena area most of her life. Her home was on East Seventh street here.
Surviving, besides the son, are 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A hearse of the Poteet funeral home went to Tulsa today and brought the body here. Funeral plans are incomplete.

Mrs. Babb, 76, Dies.
Mrs. Julia Anne (sic) Babb died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. A. Gatton, of Joplin, Monday. The funeral services will be held at the Methodist church at 3:30 o’clock this afternoon. Burial will be in Galena cemetery.
Mrs. Babb was 76 years of age and lived around Galena several years. She is survived by three sons, B. G. Babb of Galena, G. W. Babb of Payett, Ida., and D. S. Babb of Cheney, Wash., and two daughters, Mrs. M. A. Gatton of Joplin and Mrs. John Abner (sic) [Abney] of Joplin.

Mrs. Julia Anne (sic) Babb died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. A. Galton (sic) [Gatton], in Joplin. Mrs. Babb was well known in Galena, having lived here a number of years.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Methodist church. Rev. S. F. Stevens had charge of the services. Burial was in the Galena cemetery.
Mrs. Babb is survived by three sons, B. G. Babb of Galena, G. W. Babb of Payett, Ida., and D. S. Babb of Cheney, Wash., and two daughters. Mrs. M. A. Galton (sic) [Gatton] and Mrs. John Abner (sic) [Abney], of Joplin.

FORMER GALENA WOMAN
DIES AT 91 IN TULSA
Galena, Kan., Oct. 29.—Mrs. Margaret Ann Adams, 91 years old, former long-time Galena resident, died at 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of her son, Lloyd Adams, in Tulsa, where she had made her home the last year.
She had lived in the Galena area most of her life. Her home was on East Seventh street here.
Surviving, besides the son, are 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A hearse of the Poteet funeral home went to Tulsa today and brought the body here. Funeral plans are incomplete.
