Born in Neudorf, Cherlon, Russia.

OBITUARY

Mrs. Magdalena KAMMERER, widow of the late Mr. Gottlieb KAMMERER, and a daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth FREY, was born in Southern Russia on May 15, 1875.

By infant Baptism she became a member of the Lutheran Church, later on was confirmed in that faith.

On January 15, 1897 she was united in marriage to Mr. Gottlieb KAMMERER and in 1898 them came to the United States of America. Their first home was at Hosmer, South Dakota, later they moved to Leola, South Dakota, then to Booker, Texas in 1917 and to Follett in 1938. Her husband preceded her in death in 1932, also three children preceded her in death.

Mrs. KAMMERER was bedfast for a number of months, her death came at 2:05 on Friday morning, September 28th. She reached the age of 81 years, 4 months and 12 days. She leaves to mourn the following children:

Mrs. Christina KOCH - Shattuck, Oklahoma
Gottlieb KAMMERER - Ferndale, Washington
Jacob KAMMERER - Duncan, Oklahoma
John KAMMERER - Follett, Texas
Mrs. Magdalena BABITZKE - Canadian, Texas
Fred KAMMERER - Amarillo, Texas
Edwin KAMMERER - Follett, Texas
George KAMMERER - Shiprock, New Mexico

Eighteen grandchildren and twenty great-=grandchildren, a great number of friends and neighbors.

Mrs. KAMMERER was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Darrouzett all the years of her residence in this part of the country and a life long member of the Lutheran church.

Funeral services were conducted on September 29th in the Darrouzett School Auditorium with Rev. H. O. Rhode officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Mason Funeral Home of Shattuck.
