Farmer Dies at 89, Leaves 114 Descendants:
An 89 - year - old Marmet man died Tuesday in Kanawha Valley Hospital, leaving 114 living descendants.
Joseph Richard Aliff, a retired farmer, died after a long illness.
A native of Ridgeview, Boone County, Mr. Aliff is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Verna Sampson of Rand WV , Mrs. Alice Walker of Akron Ohio, and Mrs. Sarah Hutchinson of Printer WV: four sons, Earl and Ellett of Marmet WV , George of Charleston WV and Ireland of Scarbro: 23 grand children, 44 Great-Children and 40 Great-Grand- Children.
Service will be conducted at 11am Thursday in Ridgeview Baptist Chruch in Boone County by Rev. Hill.
Burial will be in Williams Mountain Cemetery,Printer. The body is in Leonard Johnson Funeral Home at Marmet.
