Funeral services for Leola F. Morris, age 87, of Sycamore, Ga. will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sycamore Methodist Church with burial to follow in Prospect Cemetery. Mrs. Morris died Saturday at Ashburn Health Care following an extended illness.



Mrs. Morris was born in Turner County and was the daughter of the late Roy M. and Pauline Bruton Farmer. She was a homemaker and had resided in Turner County all of her life. She was a long time member of the Sycamore Methodist Church and an avid Atlanta Braves fan. She was the widow of the late James B. Morris who was killed in Italy during WW II.



Mrs. Morris is survived by her daughter and son in law, Brenda J. & Ray Cox, of Ashburn, three grandchildren, Robin & Mike O'Neal, Cordele, Ga., Vicky & Stacy Keen, Ashburn, Kevin & Pamela Cox of Sycamore, and four great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers, Charles Farmer, Talmadge Farmer, Robert Farmer, and Junior Farmer all of Sycamore, Ga. and one sister, Lucille Brooks, Punta Gorda, Florida.



The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
