Obituary:

Agnes Arnold, 81, of Port Arthur died Saturday, March 9, 2002, at Senior Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Port Arthur.

A native of and lifelong resident of Port Arthur, she was a member of United Pentecostal Church of Groves.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with the Rev. Tim Kelley officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Arnold; two daughters, Ouida Keel of Groves and Bonnie White of Nashville, Tenn.; four sons, Paul White of Bridge City, Wayne White of Lincoln, Neb., Luther White of Georgetown and Mark White of Nashville, Tenn.; one sister, Dorothy Palmer of Center; four brothers, A.J. Abshire of Wildwood, Charles Abshire of Houston, Linwood Abshire of Beaumont and Louis Abshire of Port Neches; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
