Audie Martha Green, 91, of Center, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2009 at Briar Cliff Nursing Center in Carthage. She was born November 7, 1917 in Jasper County to Arthur Adams and Mirian Sheffield Adams. Ms. Green was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was also a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #903, and sang with the Gospel Aires Quartet for many years.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Rev. David Webber, Rev. Jim Webber, and Bro. Gordon Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Joaquin.
Pallbearers will be Terry Rider, Todd Ellis, Tim Webber, Lee Webber, Micah Perkins and George Andrews.
