MOMROE - GAIL LAVOR TAYLOR, 68, Monroe, died May 18, 1968, in a Richfield Hospital.

He was born Jan. 28, 1918 Springville, to Rex Lavor and Bertha Rebecca Meacham Taylor. He married Wanda Rose Lott, April 20 1937, Richfield; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.

He was a veteran of World War II. He as a home teacher in the LDS Church.

Survivors: wife, Monroe; son and daughters, Mrs. Dick (Geraldine) Blackburn Wenden, Ariz.; Mrs. Arbon (Terrill) Brown, Sigurd; Mrs. Derrel R. (Gaylene) Peterson, Rex, Mrs. Billy (Wanda) Syddall, all West Valley City; Mrs. Clark (Rosalie) Gleave, McGill, Nev.; Mrs. David (Bennith) Oldroyd, Richfield; Gail, Jr., Monroe; Joseph "Joe", Riverton; Mrs. Steven (Kathy) Gale, Beaver; Wesley, Bennion; 42 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, sisters, Leon, Mackey, Ida.; Verdell "Wayman", Orem; Ray, Magna; Robert, Riverton; Mrs. Layne (Mary Ellen) Porter, Sandy; Mrs. Donna Taylor, Kearns; Mrs. Doyle (Thora) Singleton, West Valley City; Mrs. Curtis (Bertha "Rebecca") Cook, Reno, Nev.; Mrs. Royce (Beth ) Jensen and Mrs. Verl (Bonnie) Hampton, both of Anaheim, California.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Monroe Third Ward chapel, 140 South Main, Monroe. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, and at the ward chapel from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Elsinsore Cemetery with military rites by the Monroe American Legion Post 75.
