NORTH LIVERMORE - Mrs. Nettie R. Berry, 89, died here at her home Friday.
She was born at Chesterville, April 25, 1877, daughter of Simon and Maria Fuller Richards. She was the widow of Howard P. Berry who died in 1946.
Mrs. Berry was a lifelong resident here and for more than 50 years was active in the North Livermore Church. She was honored as outstanding homemaker by the University of Maine. She was a former member of Norland Grange and was a charter member of Washburn Chapter, OES.
Surviving are a son, Lewis C. Berry of this town; two daughters, Mrs. Veartrice Verrill of Gray and Mrs. Louise B. Jones of this town; 15 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the North Livermore Baptist Church."
