Mrs.Louise Grandgeorge, 75, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. B.M. Thompson, November 4, 1931 at 7:30am. She was born at Serena Feb 22, 1856, being the daughter of Louie and Maria Stauffer. While still a girl she was confirmed in the French Lutheran Church at Serena.

She was united in marriage to Constant Haas on March 9, 1874. Two children were born to this union; Mrs. Paul Grandgeorge of Somonauk and Mrs. B.M. Thompson of Sheridan. Mr. Haas preceded her in death October 17, 1877.

On July 2, 1883, she married Henry Grandgeorge. Four children were born to this union; Ernest, Edward, and Mrs. George Bernard of Serena, and Mrs. Harry DeBolt of Ottawa. Mr. Grandgeorge passed away Jan 17, 1895. Her only brother Fred Stauffer, also preceded her in death.

All of her children survive her as well as two sisters, Mrs. Henry Caquelin and Mrs. Mary Bernard of Sheridan. There are also 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.

The funeral services are to be conducted by Rev. Floyd Davidson at the Methodist Episcopal Church in Sheridan. Interment will be in the Elerding Cemetery
