Mary Almina was born on November 19, 1873 in Pleasant Grove, Utah. She spent her early days there working in her father's store, and attending district school. She was secretary in the Primary, and a teacher in Sunday School. She attended Brigham Young Academy in Provo. She later taught school in Pleasant Grove and Vernal, Utah. She was also active in Stake Primary work, and in the Young Ladies MIA. She managed millinery establishments in Vernal, Lehi and Vernal.
In 1921 she married William Jonathan Browning in Salt Lake City. They made their home in Ogden where she was active in Relief Society, genealogy and temple work. At the time of this account, September 1952, she was making her home in Salt Lake City. Besides her house and garden she was teaching the truths of the LDS church. She had one living son, Max Browning, and two granddaughters.
On November 20, 1958, she died in a Saint George rest home. Her husband, W. J. Browning died in 1954. She was buried on St. George, Utah on November 21, 1958.

She was married on June 8, 1915 at St. George, Utah to William Jonathan Browning, son of William Wallace Browning and Sarah Josephine Elmer Browning. They had at least one chid, Max Browning. She was fondly called "Aunt May" by family members.
She passed away on November 20, 1958 at St. George, Utah and buried at St. George Cemetery.
