Brief History of Milton Beers

Born on April 21, 1893 at Pleasant Grove, Utah County Utah, a son of Franklin and Elizabeth Ann Glines Beers. Then the family moved back to Vernal where he attended schools there. He later attended Brigham Young training school, and the business college in Salt Lake City. He returned to Vernal in 1913 and worked with his brother-in-law John W. Pope.

A short time later he married Mary Catherine Murray upon her return from an LDS Mission to the Central States. They were married on July 18, 1921 at Uintah County, Utah.

They made their home in Venice and Compton, California, where he was a contractor and builder. They had the following children: Howard Milton, Betty Jane, Earl A and Marjorie Beers.

He passed away on July 22, 1964 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.
