Our dear Uncle Hughie joined his beloved Faye on August 21,1992.

Born August 16, 1906, to John Mason and Mary Loretta Rowe Burnside, in Indianola, Utah.

Married Belma Faye Anderson, August 9, 1934 in Provo, Utah; she preceded him in death on May 13, 1992.

Retired after many years service from Ford Motor Company.

He and his wife actively promoted the gem and mineral hobbies.

He became expert in rock hounding, collecting and creating.

Participated in several clubs and enjoyed traveling across the United States; wintering in Arizona.

He will be missed by friends and loved ones who cherish his many talents, enthusiasm, smile, great sense of humor and giving spirit.

Survived by a brother, John Burnside, Fairview, UT; a sister, Edna Spens, Moroni, UT; and a sister-in-law, Hilda Burnside, Salt Lake City.

Preceded in death by a brother, Ralph A. Burnside; and a sister, Annie Coates.

Memorial services will be held at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel,3251 So. 2300 East, on Wednesday, August 26th, 12:00 noon.

Friends and family visiting will be for one hour prior to the services.

Interment: Fairview, Utah City Cemetery.
