Nancy m1 in Coles Co, IL on 21 Nov 1844 to Joseph Lewis. They were the parents of Margaret Ann, and Martha Melvina "Mellie".
Nancy m2 in Coles Co, IL on 14 Oct 1854 to Arthur Cook Schnorf. They were parents of Narcissus, John, Eliza Miller, Mary Frances, Inez Dorothy, Arthur Goin "Fox", and Jacob.

Despite of having read information recorded by noted Coles Co researcher, Samuel Stephen Sargent in 1925, that Nancy had a grave marker in Adkins Woodson Cem, locating it had escaped many researchers for many years until being found to exist by an 11 year old 4g gdau, Amelia Barge, while visiting Coles Co with her family from TX for family research .
Photos show that "N Schnorf" had been manually inscribed into a slender rock set vertically on the ground.
A foot stone lying in front of the rock containing the initials J.M.A, would indicate that it belongs to James Michael Adkins (1846-1898), whose grave marker is exactly one row west of Nancy's. The foot stone has been relocated and reset vertically on the east side of his marker.

A marker base found in front of Nancy's marker had no inscription, cannot be linked to any person, and has been moved aside.
