Services for Waltz Applegate, 77, of 209 S. Peru St. Cicero, who died Sunday, July 1,1979, in Riverview Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Cicero United Methodist Church.
Applegate was born Oct. 11, 1901, in Cicero to Elmer E and Adella A (Whisler) Applegate.
He was a retired railroad forman.
He was a member of Cicero United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge No. 199 F.& A.M. in Cicero, Indianapolis Valley Scottish Rite and Murat Temple in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie; two sons, Dr. Don E. Applegate of Pensacola, Fla., and Dr. Richard Applegate of Brookings, S.D.; a brother, Edward Applegate of Cicero; five sisters, Jeanette Randall of Noblesville, Agnes Bell and Kathryn Durnell, of Cicero, Margaret Crosby of Roachdale and Clara M. Clark of Indianapolis.
